Founded - Castle Rock, CO
WCG Construction initially founded as TL White & Associates, with an emphasis on renovation and adaptive re-use of historic and iconic buildings.
Announced New Partnership
WCG Construction announced new company partnership and corresponding rebrand, as Ash & White Construction Co.
Company Restructuring
After 16 years, WCG Construction restructured and rebranded to White Construction Group.
Launched our in-house safety program
In 2010, WCG Construction launched an in-house safety program, prioritizing the safety of all team members and worksites.
Next Generation of Leadership
WCG Construction completed an internal ownership transition, bringing fresh leadership and strategic direction to the company.
Moved HQ to Englewood, CO
In 2021, WCG Construction strategically relocated its headquarters to Englewood, CO.
Launched ElevateU training program
In 2023, WCG Construction demonstrated its commitment to team member development by launching a proprietary training program.
Launched New Company Brand

Chris Haugen

President/CEO/Principal

Chris Haugen

Chris Haugen, President/CEO and Principal of WCG Construction, brings decades of expertise to the table. He has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, 27 of which have been spent at WCG Construction. Chris's passion for construction stems from his early experiences working on a historic farmstead, where he learned first-hand from builders, developers, and entrepreneurs. Thanks to his eclectic background, Chris offers innovative solutions and expert direction. His love for learning and rebuilding drives him to create amazing projects that enrich communities across the front range.

Trey Nobles

COO/Principal

Trey Nobles

Trey Nobles, COO and Principal at WCG Construction, brings an impressive three decades of industry expertise to his role. A decades-long Colorado resident, Trey has established himself as a cornerstone of the local construction community. Graduating with a degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University, his career journey first began in 1989, inspired by his grandfather's legacy in residential contracting. Within WCG Construction, Trey's responsibilities extend to leading company initiatives and nurturing a culture that promotes collaboration, imagination, and integrity. His passion lies in empowering the entire team to grow and strive for excellence.

Bill Thomas

CFO/Principal

Bill Thomas

Bill Thomas serves as the CFO and Principal at WCG Construction, bringing over two decades of industry expertise to his role. Bill has called Colorado home since his early teens and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Boulder, along with, becoming a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP). With a foundation in Public Accounting and a keen interest in construction accounting intricacies, Bill has dedicated the past seven years to WCG Construction. In his role he spearheads long-term operating strategies while enjoying the collaborative environment at WCG Construction.

Ryan Meredith

Chief Estimator

Ryan Meredith

With over 15 years of construction industry experience, Ryan Meredith serves as Chief Estimator at WCG Construction. Originally hailing from Kansas City, Ryan made Colorado his home in 1995. He went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an Emphasis in Entrepreneurship from Colorado State University. In his role, Ryan spearheads the preconstruction department, leveraging his expertise in problem-solving and client relationship cultivation. Embracing the collaborative spirit of preconstruction, Ryan finds fulfillment in minimizing construction risks and optimizing cost savings.

Gena Hannaway

Vice President Risk Management

Gena Hannaway

Gena Hannaway is the Vice President of Risk Management at WCG Construction. She brings over 35 years of experience, dedication, and insight to the team. A Colorado native, Gena holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. In her role at WCG Construction, she leads the company's risk management efforts, analyzing risk exposure for all projects, recommending optimal risk management strategies, handling contract review and negotiation, managing claims, and overseeing the subcontractor prequalification process. Gena thrives on assisting both internal and external project teams to understand contract requirements and associated risks, ensuring effective risk management.

Jason Maxwell

General Superintendent

Jason Maxwell

With a career spanning over 36 years in the construction industry, Jason Maxwell currently serves as the General Superintendent at WCG Construction. Having been part of the WCG team for over 24 years, Jason brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role. Armed with a background in Business from Fergus Falls Junior College, Jason oversees field operations, ensuring the smooth execution of projects. What drives Jason's passion for his job is the daily challenges and the rewarding feeling of witnessing the team's hard work translate into successful project completions. He loves overseeing projects that everyone can feel proud of at the end of the day.

Selso Salazar

Environmental Health & Safety Manager

Selso Salazar

Selso Salazar is the Environmental Health and Safety Manager at WCG Construction. With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Selso brings extensive knowledge in developing and implementing health and safety plans, enforcing policies, and ensuring compliance with legal guidelines. Originally from Nebraska, Selso holds a Bachelor of Science in Safety Engineering from Warren National University. His passion for safety and construction is evident in his dedication to creating a safe and compliant workplace. At WCG Construction, Selso conducts training, investigates incidents, and provides recommendations for continuous improvement, ensuring everyone on the job site goes home safe each day.

Daryn Hosiassohn

Construction Executive

Daryn Hosiassohn

Daryn Hosiassohn is a Construction Executive at WCG Construction. He currently has over 18 years of experience in the architecture and construction industries. Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Daryn holds bachelor's degrees in Architectural Studies and Architecture from the University of the Witwatersrand. With a passion for understanding the intricate processes of construction and design, Daryn plays a critical role in supporting project teams from preconstruction through project closeout. His expertise lies in coordinating with stakeholders to bring their vision to life.

Kevin Welch

Kevin Welch

Kevin Welch is a seasoned Construction Executive with 40 years of experience in the industry. A Colorado native, Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Metro State University. At WCG Construction, Kevin oversees multiple projects and personnel, leveraging his expertise to minimize risk and ensure success for all project stakeholders. He is passionate about building great projects and working with exceptional people.

James McCandless is the Vice President of Business Development & Marketing at WCG Construction. He brings a wealth of expertise, innovation, and enthusiasm to the team. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, James holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University. With extensive experience in the construction industry, James is dedicated to identifying and managing new project opportunities, overseeing the company's project pipeline, and expanding WCG Construction's market share in primary market segments. He thrives on engaging with clients and partners, and his mission is to ensure that WCG Construction remains at the forefront of industry innovation.
