This Summit County mountain project consisted of a 28,000 sq-ft. new building to house Copper Mountain Fire Station No. 1 and the Copper Mountain Consolidated Metropolitan District Offices to include water sanitation and administration services.
The building is constructed of CMU block and steel with stone and stucco veneer.
The fire station features a four-bay drive-through apparatus area, sleeping quarters and facilities to accommodate firefighters and ambulance personnel 24/7. The building features a training tower that includes a search area, rappelling and stair training, operational offices, information systems, and storage & equipment facilities. The administrative area features a full-service community room. The project included a radiant snow melting system, landscape, and parking lot.
