Raices Brewery

The original building was built several decades ago as a textile factory in 1952. It was severely hit with the South Platte Flood of 1965, then abandoned during the 90’s and 2000’s. Salvaging and preserving what was remaining was no small feat.

The transformation of this historic bowstring building into a thriving brewery took a collaborative effort of Chord Architects and WCG personnel to carefully adhere to reconstruction and replacement of character-defining features, while updating it to current building code and ensuring ADA compliance and upgrades.

WCG’s scope included all the building’s core & shell restoration, and another contractor focused on T.I. work.
